    Point Allotment vs. Fixed Stat progression

    I'm sort of an old school RPGer so I favor the fixed stat progression because it allows more amplification for racial stats of tarutaru/mithra/hume/etc to make each have a clear advantage with certain jobs which I always loved .

    I want to know though, given the power to choose, would you guys favor allotting the points yourself for each armoury class or have fixed stats by each level?

    Give me the stats the way they are intended, but let me adjust them as I see fit.

    Its perfect the way yoshida will release it. I like the fact that its fixed, but get x amount of points per level to distribute myself.

    yeah they are planning on doing both ways, and I kind of like it that way.

    You get set states at start, and set increase at level up, but then you get some points to play with and tweak yourself to what you like.

    Me for instance, I want to be a Lancer/Con (with DRG I guess as job *shrugs*) and so as a Miqo'te I would already have decent ACC, so I could throw a few points in STR MND and INT.
