So how exactly does the Does the FL queue work?

Ok, so with the queues increasing recently to ludicrous proportions for me i decided to try and do a couple of quick tests to see if frontline queues are trying to function correctly.

Myself and 2 friends decided all to queue at the exactly the same time, All as twin adders and all as PLD. Our pvp ranks are 31, 25 and 37. We repeated this test 3-4 times over a couple of days for hope to find a consistent result.

And we did, the Rank 31 and 35 people got 4 Queue pops in the space of 2 around 2 hours during prime times. Where as the rank 37 only got into 1 match joining the others in their 4th match. So 2 people got a pop every 20-30 mins while for one it took over 1 hour 30 mins for one queue.
Maybe the queue for this guy was broken? perhaps but we repeated this test 4 times with the same results. When asked inside the matches some people had managed 7 match queues in the time the Rank 37 got one.

So my question is this, is there something we are misunderstanding about the FL queues? It seems its neither based on first come first served or based on class. The pvp ranks (particularly between the 35 and 37) aren't vastly different. So what causes this delay and has anyone else found the same thing?

Yep your right, this is why i'm here trying to find out if people have similar experiences, all my experiment shows is that the rank 37 player only got into 1/4 of the matches the other got over the course of around a total of 16 frontline pops for the other people. Just trying to find some kind of pattern as to How the Duty finder works

If you are Twin Adder, the duty finder timer is for reference only. If you didn't get pull into a game within 5 mins during the prime time, consider it got bugged.

I wish I knew how it works, my queue times is normally about 100mins+
And everytime I join I ask the others if they enjoyed the 100 min queuetime and I get stuff like "I only queued for 5 min"

I've wondered the same thing.

Last night, for example. Someone in my LS (who was in Maelstrom at the time) was complaining about being utterly frustrated with his queue times. At the same time, I was getting pops after about 5-8 minutes of waiting. I don't know his exact rank, but I do know I am higher than him.

He got so frustrated last night, he switched to Adders.

I've been queueing for more than 100 minutes everyday and no pop. I normally restart the queue and wait 10 minutes, if it hasn't popped, I just do something else. I've been wondering if the FL queue was broken too, all this week I didn't get a chance to join FL at all, it just wouldn't pop. I'm rank20 and my friend who is 36 has the same problem. Maybe nobody does FL anymore? o_O;

I have had similar issues I will be in que awhile with no pops, I will drop and reque and instantly get into a game in progress. Yet it never grabbed before that game started and if I had not dropped and requed I would not have got in at all. So if it says que time is 10-15 mins and still no pop after that long then I just drop que now and restart it and usally get right in.
