    I would love if they had more primal fights involved in future upgrades (extreme ones) among other things. Would also incentive people to farm extremes and make more ponies drop ! Primals are forgotten once you win your High Allagan set, I always liked farming them (with decent groups though lol) but people always gave up after a couple of kills because there's no incentive for them to farm.

    I kind of like that idea. Solo dungeons or bosses specifically tailored to your job/weapon that test your knowledge and skills at that job would be AWESOME. They'd make you actually have to think and put together strategies to win, and you'd actually have to know how to play your job well. That would be so much more fun that running around to fates, farming ridiculous amounts of myth tomes, or running the same roulette day after day and hunting non-stop for alexandrites.

    A hard/extreme version of the final antagonist in each job questlines sounds ok for a solo endeavour. More skill than grind would be nice to see.

    But it will probably draw on version 1's drawn out process, eg. farming 999 beastmen currencies (because people don't do dailies when they are capped reputation etc)

    Of course, extreme primals too.

    Whatever is underused or barren, they will probably just attach the quest to lol.

    Wholeheartedly agree. I would love to see something like this or something akin to the Maat fight that really puts the players to the test for their Zodiac. Something that basically equates to a final exam of a player's overall knowledge of their particular job, and unless you have a true mastery of your job it's highly unlikely that you'll clear. I think something like that would give the Zodiac a more worthwhile value to it.

    I have been with the game since beta last summer. I liked the first part of relic up to Titan HM. I was on PS3, I had no LS to help as many said my PS3 was holding them back. The FC I was in at the time wasn't doing relic and it was early in the game start. I tried a lot of parties with someone always jumping off the side to wreck the run. I gave up and bought a titan run after 1 month of fail. So I hope no primals or other content for ppl to ruin runs and then sell it back to you. I liked Atma as it was fair grinding but in the time I did it, it took away from staying current with newer end game content such as 2nd turns of coil. Animus was fun with the dungeons, meet many new players and enjoyed helping them while completing my tasks . The 100 things to kill was useless, same for the fate wait and leves. Novus was a nice 2 month daily roulette to finish. I feel that if there are any new pieces added that they be random dungeon drops/HM/EX or coil t1 to t5. Maybe the harder the content the higher the drop rate, give us a reason to push ourselves harder to do relic quest faster if we want without forcing us outside of our skill level. ie 15% drop rate for Ifrit HM, 30% for ifrit EX. Can get it either way, one way just takes longer if you can't get the EX down. I feel like I lost skills in Atma farming and the Animus books.
    I would hope what ever is the next set is reasonable skills based. Running content, learning skills and learning your class are important. You can speed run though myth with zero skill. I have seen many players that are unskilled in their relic class and I think that is because the content that moves atma and animus forward take away from practicing current content from first coil/HM and EX primals. Not saying they should make a t9 clear the way to get the new upgrade. Enough players can't get through t4 and t5 of the first coil. Give us a way to learn our class while advancing our Novus. It would make many of us better players then being pros at level sycn to fate and random 100 kills.

    I'd like unique job-based challenges and duties that test your skill at the job. Nothing crazy difficult but stuff that would require that job to do most of the fights' heavy lifting.

    There's no way Novus should be considered casual content at all, the mount of time needed is pretty demanding and requires you to log on daily to make any meaningful progress, and that's not adding in the potential cost of the materia. Relic/Zenith were casual friendly as everyone could potentially do it and you could get somewhere even if you could only play a few hours 2-3 days a week. Doing that for the Animus > Novus stage at the current rate means you complete it in months. You can get a Soldiery weapon entirely from scratch to level 110 in 3 weeks with the same play schedule.

    Essentially I want more unique challenges and to prevent people from getting the weapons too quickly by locking us out of the next steps based on RL time. So say if they want you to go from Novus > to the next upgrade in a month and there are 4 steps to it clearing a step would mean that the next step would be available in 5-7 days. Having to get on and devote a portion of my time to grinding each and every day so I can actually finish while the weapon is still useful is very grating and really wears out the game content.

    Well, that or redesign a ton of stuff so that we get Allowances that build up like leves so we don't have to log on every damn day.

    Novus is casual because you can complete them at your own leisure and not have to worry about beating your head against a difficulty wall.
