Q about chocobo's

Couple of questions about chocobo leveling


Does my chocobo have to attack / tag an enemy to get credit, or can I just run in to mobs and AoE them down?

What's the minimum level enemy my chocobo can gain exp from if I am level 50?

When you summon your Chocobo, it counts you as being in a party with him, therefore any EXP that goes out he receives. He doesn't need t touch a mob to receive EXP.

As for minimum level to receive EXP, I'm not sure. I haven't experimented with that.

Your chocobo shares your level so anything you receive experience from, he will too. He'll also still gain exp like normal if you use level sync in a FATE even if your current class is normally level 50.

Alright thanks for the answers, I'm guessing the range would be somewhere between 3-5 levels, so killing 45's should be ok for a 50 etc, but I can always test that in game

In normal fights if you are level 50, your chocobo will still earn XP from level 42+ mobs.

As long as you level sync too, your chocobo will earn XP no matter the level of the fate.(little xp compared to grinding high mobs but still works)
