Buy able Fantasia

Just a quick question about these wonderful fantasias. I know that SE stated they were looking for a way to allow players to purchase multiple fantasias for the same account outside of the 1/3/5 options currently available, but has there been any word if that's coming soon? I would greatly appreciate any info regarding this as I'm guilty of changing race frequently :3

So seeing 100+ views, but no reply's I'm assuming that there isn't any info about fantasias being sold multiple times. Not being a cat is driving me up a wall, and since I've had the same character since 9-30-2010 there's no way in hell I'm rerolling.

I don't think there is any specific info on when we can expect these. All I've seen are the devs confirming that it's not an option due to how the system is set up, and they will be changing that. We can't hope for confirmation in this thread over the next couple days either, because it's the weekend.

Maybe, hopefully the Golden Saucer will be released in 2.4, and we'll be able to get them as one of the more expensive prizes. I hope they change the Mogstation to allow us to purchase them normally soon, though.

It's difficult because they need to restructure how the Mog Station works. It was never designed to be a "Cash Shop" in any way and everything is tied to the Service Accounts not to individual characters. Everything from Fantasia Sets to Vet Rewards to Event Rewards like Bomb/Cactuar Earrings to Extra Retainers are saved as flags under your account in SE's database. Each time a new flag is required for a special item it's another column in the database and if you've ever used Excel you know you can only have so many columns in a database. In order to do Fantasias properly they need to implement a brand new system that works independent of account flags and interacts directly with characters and then ensure it's bug free and secure. This takes time.

Phials of Fantasia
Purchasing Fantasia will allow you to edit the race, gender, and appearance of your character.
* Please review the relevant details before purchasing Fantasia.
Your purchase will grant a phial (or phials) of Fantasia to all characters available on the selected service account.

Using Fantasia
Fantasia grants you a single opportunity to edit your appearance.
You will be allowed to change your race, gender, and appearance.
* Your day of birth, patron deity, starting class, and name cannot be changed.


Changing Your Appearance
After using Fantasia, you will be allowed to change your appearance in the character creation screen upon your next login.
At the character selection screen, right click the character or press square to proceed to the character creator.
* Before using Fantasia, you must remove all equipment except for your main hand.


Precautions
If you do not choose to change your appearance at the character selection screen, you will not lose the effect of Fantasia.
When you have finished using the character creator, Fantasia will be consumed even if there are no changes in your character's appearance.
The appearance change granted by Fantasia will not be lost until you have completed using the character creator.

Hummmmmm, you should really pay closer attention to the thread you are posting in.

We know you can buy fantasias. Have you actually bought them? It's a one-time purchase for each set of 1, 3, and 5. Some people have bought them all, and are wondering when SE will overhaul the mogstation to allow them to buy more, because as it stands, the system isn't set up for that.

The best they could do now is a 2, 4, 6+ potions as options in the meanwhile
