Novus Stats for Bard?

Just wondering how other bards are upgrading their Novus.

I was thanking about going 30 Crit, 30 Det and 15 ACC. That's if I can get all the Tier IV materia. If not I was thinking about dropping 25 into each stat and maybe dumping some Tier I into skill speed, if I cant afford/SB the needed materia

ACC is easy to cap and as far as I know, there is no real cap for Crit or Det.

If I'm wrong and there is a better way, please educate me a little....

I'd wager Critical Hit rate is probably the best stat for Bards at the moment mainly because dealing critical hits are often worth more than the 50% extra damage (Bloodletter reset for example).

That said when it comes to gear I am going for the more conservative method of retaining the Artemis Bow's accuracy just in case it's needed. Therefore I'm going +44 Accuracy and +31 Critical Hit Rate.

By the way, I've nowhere near finished the Novus quest yet, so I'll be keeping my eye out on this thread to see how other bards are upgrading their bow.

I'm doing what I expect most will do and that is +44 Crit and +31 Det. I'm really disappointed in the Aural gear (from Soldiery tomes) being so extremely heavy in Acc and so light on crit and det. I figure I'm not likely to miss the Acc on the weapon.

31 det 34 crit 10 accuracy or maybe even 30 30 15 just because I'll be spending too much time or money on materia if I went went 44 31. I don't think the extra little crit is worth it tbh

I am going with 44 CRIT and 31 ACC...was thinking about doing some other combos but what it really comes down to after discussing this a ton with other Bards is that we have to be thinking of long term down the road and overall usefullness. down the line we could have gear sets that are short on ACC and CRIT and since those two are really important to BARDS those are the "SAFE" stats to be used on all applications. What I want to know is how low the meld %'s drop...want to try and do it all with Tier 1 Materias...LOL

31 CRIT 31 DET 13 ACC - accuracy loss from Animus can thus be made up with HQ Lava Toad Legs - at least that's what I'm doing.

Sadly you can't continue to use lower grades of materia, at least it won't let me. After I got to 11 on Tier one for crit it forced me to do Tier II, and same for when I got 11 in Tier II, now I have to do Tier III. I've yet to confirm if you can have 3 stats though. All I've see is just speculation/talk. I haven't seen an actual screen shot where someone put work into 3 different stats.

as long as you meet the ilvl and acc, it doesnt matter that much if you go 44 more crit or 31 more det ^^ check yourself:
