    It's not a give me what I want now (previous post has been properly submitted by the by). There's time to find a solution that is amicable for everyone, part of it is still communication though. I think the biggest reason I'm as ticked off as I am is simply because I asked these questions in multiple places and was subsequently ignored only to have what I didn't want to happen, happen.

    I think in light of the situation and as a gesture of good will, a refund option should be available to those whose parties have been split up.

    Then perhaps set up a new date to allow other people a chance to try again, with no refund of course.

    And at that time only those willing to chance it will try again.

    Of course this is a pipe dream and would never happen.

    I am sorry to hear that, really I am. I know that this event means a lot to people. The chance to meet and congregate with people from online outside the game and see face to face the person. Thats why I am disappointed in how all this was handled. I really am saddened by how it was handled. It could have been and should have been dealt with differently, Including IMO not having the cash grab VIP option at all. I completely agree with your point too that they are horrible at communicating and horrible at being transparent. I am not trying to downplay any of these points at all. I just wish that rather than "complaining" (I will use quotes because maybe thats not what you are trying to come across as) that perhaps a more constructive and useful method of feedback was provided. Perhaps starting a separate post laying out what was done wrong what could be done in the future to improve and even what was done right. That way a specific post laying out everything in a non-bias/thoughtful/constructive leaving out personal grievances and focusing on what actually caused those issues to provide an avenue to prevent such things from occuring again. Will it solve your issue now ? Probably not, and I think that going through the forums probably wont solve much of anything regardless. You could try contacting customer service through live chat but like their communication their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. You could try contacting eventbrite or using the contact event host on their site. But I have little to no faith in them solving your issue I do have faith though in voices like yours preventing things like this from happening to you or anyone else in the future though.

    If I insulted you I apologize that was not my intent and I will try to be more careful with my words in the future.

    I'm not demanding anything, and I'm sure not saying this ruined our lives. Maybe because this is the internet, you can't fully comprehend my intentions. Basically, right now I'd like it addressed. An apology, a solution, anything. But it's just up in the air right now, and you aren't doing anything, but fueling the fires in injustice, my dear. lol

    Just wanted to add in that I also managed to get both my tickets upgraded to VIP using the "one ticket in each browser" method. I've actually helped develop similar software to what EventBrite uses, and I remembered the 15 minute grace period where you lock a ticket into a pending mode from when we got the originals.

    Sorry for everyone who was unable to get them who wanted them. I hope they find a solution to allow refunds for the split groups.

    Just to add. I can confirm that I spent 40 min straight from the release time trying to enter the key code and it never even responded up until there was 1 ticket left (like it just didnt work.) While I am very disappointed with the outcome, I suggest SE choose a better system moving forward.

    Did you at least get the "invalid code" message? I did a dry run a little bit before, and I kept getting "Sorry, that code is not valid" when I entered it on the page that showed "Bummer!"

    I also started seriously hammering 3 minutes before time, in case my clock was slow. My tickets state I got them at exactly 10:30 by EventBrite's server, but my PC clock said 10:28.
