I received a Timeworm map the other day that recommended I find a party of 8. I foolishly thought, "pfft I don't need anyone else..." I was wrong and I failed it trying to solo...anyways my question would be...Is it acceptable to post on the PF asking for help and that I would reward people for helping me? or is there something in the ToS about that?

Also would the opposite be alright? Meaning, I put up my services for anyone needing Fates/Dungeons and asking for a fee in return? I'm sure there are people out there that need that one random dungeon but don't want to wait forever in DF or who don't have anyone from their FC to help.

No you can post just about anything in PF lol that and i have seen many ppl posting in pf doing maps you can ask ppl to join if they all so have maps or say you will pay them it's all up to you^^ iv all so seen ppl posting dates but yea

You can post a PF asking people to bring the maps too. Just put that if it's your map then it's your loot. These were popular right after maps came out.

All the maps can be solo'd, including Peisteskin. I do it all the time on whm or sch.

Either way, there's nothing wrong with using PF for maps. Just remember that if people are in your team they have a chance to get the rewards from it. All of the rewards, even the rare pets. You can try to make them agree to give you everything they get, but I wouldn't trust PuGs.

It be just like any run you do once your done you can all roll on it so you may wanna bring ppl you know or trust

There used to be a lot of treasure map groups in PF though I been seeing a lot less recently.
Just a note that most of the crafting materials will be randomly distributed - shards/cloths/ingots/dress materials.
Some exceptions being frosted glass lens, chinchilla hides and a few others that will end up in treasure pool to be rolled on.

As for selling service, this is in the grey area, technically you are not looking for party and doing something that SE does not really encourage... You can probably do it but may/may not get nasty tells.

You could also start up an LS dedicated specifically for map runs. That's what I did, but I haven't been very proactive in recruiting people.

Some would call it spamming. I've also seen someone on this board get the definition of advertising mixed up in the Terms of Service, thinking that it also applied to advertising services in-game, but without actually selling services and goods for real life currency. Also, some people don't want to see services in the PF, as they're afraid it will turn into another marketboard, but that has never happened.
