    Do you think i cared? about bots? i was to busy playing the game anyways how should i know they really had bots for ps2/ps3 when i played on pc? and only played on ps2 for 1year. No need to say it such a smart ass way you know o.o the point of the matter is that am not talking about bots i was talking how SE wont waste there money trying to make addon also work for ps3 due to them being lazy with it so that why it never going to happen in ffxiv.

    Just personal opinion, but:

    If you're not automating things (like recording mouse movements + button presses + conditions), then you're fine. Square might think otherwise but by toggling certain features in your driver software should not be illegal. I also have a keyboard capable of macros, and I do use them, I've always used them and there is absolutely no way SE, or anyone else could ever know. I'm not using them to bot, I'm not using them to automate, I am simply using features on my modern keyboard. I don't see any problem with it, they don't give me an edge, they simply make the game more comfortable for me to play because the controls in this game are atrocious.

    I would personally look down on someone that makes a macro to craft for them, that would be crossing the line, IMO. But just telling your keyboard to repeat a single key when you hold it down or something, I don't see a problem.
