Alexandrite and Atma at the same time?

I have a lot of time coming up this weekend so I was crazily thinking id farm a second set of atmas. I also need a few more alexandrites. Can you get them at the same time or is the drop exclusive to the tier of weapon you are equipped with?

Your need Zenith to farm Atma, no? They only drop if you have a Zenith equipped.

They're exclusive. Neither one is going to drop for a weapon that can't use them.

For atma's to drop you have to complete FATEs with a Zenith equipped.

For alex to drop you have to complete FATEs with an Animus equipped.

Unfortunately, no 2 birds with 1 stone

Took me a while to realize what the question was because it's seriously a lot faster to just grind Myth and buy Alex Maps.

Indeed it is. I have been doing this. But, I DID want to get a second set of Atma while being able to farm alexandrines from fates hopefully killing 2 birds with one stone, but alas that seems impossible.

Farming alex from FATEs is the slowest method by far.

yep. but only pld can do it. wear 1 zenith piece and 1 animus piece bam. chance at both drops. but you can't get both at the same time either 1 or the other will drop if both drop at the same time you will only get a alexandrite.

No they can't actually, on the Patch note they said that it will only count the highest item ( so Alexandrite > Atma )
