    Are you sure you haven't gotten to the part where you give back the unfinished relic? After you have beaten the Hydra, you need to use a different weapon for the rest of the quest.

    I'm at the point where I have to beat Chimera, I need to have the unfinished weapon equipped for that as far as I can remember, right?
