More RPG, Less Walking Simulation please

Please help us focus on spending time doing the interesting things in game rather than walking/running.

I can agree with this wholeheartedly.

Or at least some kind of automated run/transport so that I still have to spend time doing it, but in the meantime I can chat/webbrowse/set skills/whatever so I don't feel like I'm wasting my time.

Alas, this is the wrong section of the forum for this suggestion. This part of the forum is for feedback and suggestions regarding the forums only, not the actual game itself.

You know that 'RPG' means 'Roleplaying Game', right?
Roleplaying. It means that you're supposed to play as if you were your character in the game. It's quite enjoyable when you aren't being a nitpicking little impatient prick who can actually enjoy his surroundings.
Yes, kudos on the implements on getting places quicker, but don't complain because just because you happen to have no imagination of your own and expect every MMORPG to have a perfect checklist for player convenience. I am happy as all hell that Square-Enix actually took the time to make such huge maps and huge exploration and enjoyable and visually beautiful surroundings. What do you care? You just teleport everywhere and see the exact same camp everyday. How is that fun? It's just the same thing again and again.
