FFXIV Boot Error and Script Error

I am trying to download the game on my PC, but every time I try to start the launcher I either get the error code:
[30605][10009][10020]

or I will actually be able to start the launcher only to run into something called a script error. After clicking yes on the script error the launcher stays as a black screen.

Someone please help.

So I played around a little today and found something out. For reference, I am currently living in a university dorm and using wifi (there is no wired connection). By tethering my phone as the my source for internet connection, I was able to bypass my previous errors, albeit very slow.

So, is there anything I can do about my situation? I pinged the server have a lot of packet loss. I also have no access to port forwarding or firewalls or anything pertaining the router within my dorm. Is there any possible thing I could do to fix my problem with my connection? Has anyone had a similar situation?

If you can't port forward, you're kind of SOL, sorry to say :<

You can TRY this, but it's up to you. Try updating the game at a friends house, somewhere where the internet isn't shared with a shit ton of other people, and then once it's done, take it back to your house. It sucks, but that might work
