    Soldiery Weekly Cap

    With the Soldiery Weekly Cap, I understand why they wish to cap the amount you get on a weekly basis, and that's to stop people from being fully geared in a day.

    What I wished could be considered is for those who, for example, go on hiatus for a week or two. This essentially causes them to fall behind in the gearing rate opposed to those who manage to cap their Soldiery on a weekly basis.

    What if the cap has a grace period of two weeks on a rolling basis?

    For example, this week I only manage to get 250 Soldiery out of the 450 cap. Next week I would have 450 + 200 pro-rata. If I wasn't able to cap it last week, it'll allow me to catch up on those that I missed out from last week.

    Think of it similarly to how the Rest Exp works. You will still need to be in a town in order for it to trigger the rolling effect, and it still 'gates' the gear progression but it doesn't penalise you too harshly if you miss out on last week's Sol Cap because you took a holiday for a week. You'll still need to play to get the tomes, so it's still a win on both sides.

    I actually like this idea and it makes perfect sense , alloting you two weeks time to accumalte the 900 myth. Problems arise with every ''solution''. Someone playing every 3 weeks might want it raised for them as well. You're kinda stuck out there as far as being a very minimal problem relating to a small base of the player percentage.

    Yeah that's true as well. The reason why a two week pro-rata could work is that you can still buy something with the 900 tomes so there's still a sense of reward. With the current system, if you're away from the game for three weeks which puts far behind that you're looking at four weeks from the day that you left just to get your first notable piece which actually shows graphical advancement (belt and accessories being an exception).

    in about a month Sol will prob be like myth. but it would be nice for the next tomestone.

    Sounds good. Keeps the system's main purpose while being friendly to players. Good

    Just make a little spot for information on what will fall out of the rollover (on your second week with two weeks of roller over, next week some of it is going to fall out if you don't slightly catch back up).

    They turned this idea down when people wanted it for Mythology Tomes, since essentially, you could pretty much cheat the system in the long run and defeat the purpose of caps (mostly to gate gear, but also to keep content relevant through the update patch, which is why they unchain the tomes on next progression patch so people can go at their pace to get it.)

    Don't let it earn you more than the cap, but let you continue to earn more than the weekly cap - solved . lol

    (The only serious issue I see is the one you listed, which could be solved pretty easily by keeping a storage cap but rolling over the weekly cap)

    It's already been asked numerous times and the same automated "we don't have any plans to do this" has been the response every time.

    Most other games already do something like this for daily allowances, but I can't think of any games that do it for weekly currency.

    Used to care about capping it...not anymore. In that 1-2 month dry spell waiting for more content.
