I was away for a bit with wonky internet and vacation, my server seems a bit quiet, curious how the other servers are doing?
And also curious what everyone thinks of this current patch, better/worse helped/improved what not the game?

Most servers are pretty quiet because most of the time people are either talking to their LS or haters.
The patch was pretty good compare to the other patches we had i guess.
It probably depends on your time zone.
Saronia, which is a 1-chocobo server, tends to be a bit quiet during US peak times, but is very active during Japanese peak time. I've also been meeting a lot of brand new players over the past few weeks and our Linkshell is growing quite a bit.
My server seems OK. You usually run past several different LS groups hanging out in Ul'dah, and there always seems to be hustle and bustle of random people running about. The other cities are pretty dead, though. But what can you say? People on all servers seem to congregate in Ul'dah, I hear.
Anyway, if you hang out in Ul'dah, you'll usually see shouts for r45 raid groups and SP parties (usually ranging from r33-50). Once in a while people shout for r32 and lower SP parties. Haven't seen many shouts for r25 raids, and I hear people are having trouble getting them together.
I guess, like FFXI, this game doesn't get truly fun (party wise) until around r30.
