While in most cases the notion of opinion can justify your argument here, you fail to do so in this case. Your exact words were "This is definately not working as intended imo and needs to be patched soon.". Let's analyze this sentence.

"This is definately not working as intended" : At this point, all that can be seen is that you're expressing a fact.

"imo" : Oh, it's an opinion. Okay.

"and needs to be patched soon." : In stating this, aren't you saying that your opinion is correct? That's the same as saying it's a fact.

This flip flopping showed that you tried to disguise something you presented as a fact as an opinion, and I saw right through it. This isn't a matter of bowing down and assuming that the developers do the right thing all the time. This is a matter of you failing to properly state an opinion as exactly what it is: an opinion. The sentence "This is definitely not working as intended and it needs to be patched soon" is a statement that you're presenting as correct, implying that you know better than the developers. The sentence "I think that the i70 Ixal Smithing Gloves should let us craft Ixali recipes" is a statement of opinion that asks the developers to reconsider something they've already done. Inserting "imo" into the first one doesn't automatically make it the latter. It just makes you look silly.
