The I70 Ehcatl Smithing Gloves and Ixal dailies.

I recently hit max rank for the Ixal Beast Tribe and bought the il70 Ehcatl Smithing Gloves and was a little disappointed that I couldn't use these as a replacement for Ehcatl Wristgloves for crafting the quest items.

Since the Ixal dailies in my opinion have more incentive to keep repeating to exchange the Oaknots for crafting mats, it'd like it to be possible to use the il70 Ehcatl Smithing Gloves to craft the quest items over the Ehcatl Wristgloves so that I do not need to keep equipping them just for these dailies(And so I can get rid of them, lol).

I thought the i70 gloves would work for the Ixal quests, too. Disappointed to hear this.

Its because the quests are supposed to have a bit of challenge to them, and they decided to do this by removing 1 piece of gear (essentially). If the gloves could be used, that handicap would not only be gone, but the quests would become even easier.

Your comment doesn't make sense. The i70 gloves require you to be level 50. At level 50 the dailies are trivial with or without the gloves.
Hopefully it is just an oversight and gets fixed.

The handicap of losing one piece of gear is negligible... the debuff that caps your CP or restricts cross-class skills does a lot more to make them challenging than one piece of gear, and even then a lvl50 can still do them easily.

i don't think it was a oversight the lvl 1 clearly says (needed to do ixal dailies) while the lvl 70 doesn't obviously they weren't going to work.

Oh I had little hope that they would work for the quest items, this thread was made as more of a suggestion to see if they can change them to work with the quests.

You can do the crafting part with a level 50 DoH and give the crafted items to the quest npc with a lv 30 DoH (as example) to get exp for the lv 30 DoH.
I doubt it is a oversight.
