    I had this annoying problem for months ever since moving out of the states but trying to pay with the same card. Best part is even after contacting SE about it they pretty much tell you it's like that to prevent fraudulent charges to your card from overseas....even if you verify that it's YOU trying to pay your sub(oh gee thanks SE for KEEPING ME FROM SCAMMING MYSELF BY PAYING MY OWN SUB).

    I was finally able to ge tpast this by using the hola better internet extension(I use it on google chrome), and it works just fine now. Good luck op!

    Is it possible to buy Crysta in Australia

    I'm in Australia and I can't see any option other than using a credit or debit card to pay for a subscription... Why is this happening? I've been subscribed since pre-launch plus 6 years of FFXI... Ugh.

    I bought a Load&Go VISA from Australia Post - it fixed the problem for me.
    I did not use it to buy Crysta though... I just used the card to pay for the subscription + retainers.


    I have been paying SE with the same CC for years on 2 accounts, only this account received a 406 error - of which Customer service did NOTHING to fix.

    They told me after 4 days that my Credit card had insufficient funds. I told them that is incorrect, it had plenty of funds.I received a general CS BS reply.
