So my question is this... Can we find a way to make it so subsequent relics aren't as painful to get? Like maybe make the ATMA crystals you get once usable for all of them? Or the books apply more than once perhaps?

Good suggestion but currently get ready for the pain. The other option is grind ATMA continuously, collecting enough stones from each area to level up all ALT classes. While this will still take "forever" at the pain is limited one long session of your gaming experience.

I've actually considered that option, if I can find the bag space for it, and I may go ahead and do it. Maybe. Depending on how agonizing one set is to get. I just thought I'd throw the thought out there since Square seems determined to keep upgrading the relics, and eventually it'll get to a point where the whole mess isn't worth the aggravation to do once let alone 9 or more times.
