I need a zalera recruitment code

so i'm pretty new to the game and wanted to know how the recruitment code works, before i put in my game time card, it'll be my first after the trial ends, if I enter in a code that a veteran player gives me, does that mean that we both get the mount? Sorry for the confusion I just don't know how it works, I'm on world zalera

Sadly you will only get the earring that gives you a 53% exp boost until lvl 25. The veteran will get the mount. Here is a link about it: http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...riend_recruit/
They way it works btw would be to give another player your email and via the Mog Station they will send you a message with a code you attach to your account.

Also I'm on a different server, so I'm not sure if I can but..If you want that sweet earring I would be happy to send you a friend code. :P I want that mount! lol... It's lame that both players don't get the mount. I think SE dropped the ball on that one.

The head piece also only gives 20% EXP boost.. My main is currently on Zalera if you want a code. I'll be on tomorrow around 11 AM CST if you're on. My main's the same name as my character on Balmung. Loki Bludcraven. Or if you're on now I'm on at the moment. But gotta hurry; Maint starts soon.
