And this right here is what I've been fearing right as they introduced the Augmented AF. Yes, we already knew SE was going a tad overboard with glamours, but it just seemed fishy to me. Definitely not gonna be surprised if our AF2 is going to be related to all this... *shiver*

    Complete new AF, no upgrades

I really hope Square rebalances things a bit, BSM/ARM/CRP have been getting seriously shafted lately, particularly BSM.
Which primal weapons, except the books, need Alchemist?

I will save allied seals for Twin Adder armor set and believe my elezen will look more badass than all those "augmented" people that have wasted tons of gil for simple glamour.
At least on Odin there are so many people with "glowing" armour, painted AF or wearing swimsuits that it really seems very lame already. Especially some of those swimsuits - fugly.

They are crafted weapons (where you need a mat from Titan), not primal weapons.
Primal weapons are weapons you get directly from Primals without a crafter in between.

This. Proof being that they modified the Lightning Returns gear so that it can be dyed, and you don't have to spend a fortune to do so. The Augmented AF gear concept is stupid. Why it wasn't like dyeable LR gear or dyeable Darklight gear, who the hell knows. SE just seems to think that glamour stuff should be ridiculously hard to get, but actually usable gear should be easy. Such a backwards, stupid position.

Looking good is half the battle. I don't mind that it's expensive or difficult to create.

With all those mats they could've atleast increased the stats to make it comparable to i90 -i95

Kudos to those people
Don't forget those sweet temple gloves.

Gil is easier to get and less useful than Allied Seals. If anyone is being "wasteful" it would be you. Generally a good idea to not judge others for choosing to do something they'd like to do when it has zero impact on yourself.
