Fun stuff to do...

I'm at the end of my tether with this game now in all fairness and really looking for advice on what to do in this game more regularly.

My daily routine is dailies followed by expert roulette and then I log out. Twice a week I go into Coil and clear it and then I log out.

What exactly is there to do?

• The other roulettes
• Extreme Primals
• Coil (Savage)
• Syrcus Tower
• Side quests (like Hildibrand)
• Gathering
• Crafting
• Daily Beastmen Quest (Sylphs, Amal'jaa, Kobolt, Sahagin & Ixali)
• Hunts
• Treasure Maps
• Behests for Seals so that you can send your Retainers on a Venture
• Working on another class
• Getting a Novus weapon
• Helping fellow Company members with things they need doing

^This and don't burn yourself out by playing too much. It a bad habbit to over play a game to the point you get tired of playing.

Try other games for a bit since we only get 1 Major Update every 2.5 months and we're only 2 updates away from the release of 1st expansion (arriving "Sooner than expect")

You know what's funny. People with only 4 classes to 50 who say their bored and have nothing to do. I mean.. are you even going to attempt to unlock any crafting.. ever? I'm not going to press the issue anymore.. You've explored what, 20% of the games full potential.. All I can say is, this game is just not for you.

this counter-argument aggravates the hell out of me.

not everyone enjoys leveling.
not everyone enjoys melee classes.
not everyone enjoys magic classes.
not everyone enjoys crafting.
not everyone enjoys gathering.

maybe instead of plastering their lodestone and faulting them on things they have not maxed, you could give some examples on
what got you out of the 'i have nothing to do' rut. or you could always, i dont know, not respond.

tried and ranked up FLs to 40. got bored after..
play pretty-dress-up-time and glamoured everything..
took up gardening those carrots you need for your chickens.
daily hunts.
separated 'thing to do' throughout the week
-- tues is ST grind for my drop day
-- wed is coil

i have no clue why Fervid felt the need to post the OP classes so he dose not have everything max out and? not everyone needs to lvl up every class and or job and some ppl just don't have the time :P

That's BS. I don't even see leveling more than one fighting class as "Content". People like that annoy me for some reason. You don't have to level them all to experience the full game as you can do everything with just one class.

Actually, that coulden't be more incorrect.

The combat in the game is completely different approaching it as a Melee DPS, a Ranged DPS, a Tank, or a healer.

Warrior as a Tank is different in feel and execution than Paladin.

Same could be said for Dragoon and Monk, or Black Mage and Summoner ,etc.

Leveling up another class is content, just in the different way you play with it. That's why it's so highly encouraged to play a wide variety: You may find a playstyle you enjoy more, or fond that you enjoy the game more mixing it up.

This is ignoring the class and Job storylines that coincide with them as well. So no, you can't do all content on one class.

What I am saying is the class itself is content, and in doing so breaths new life into content you've already visited.

Mastered tanking Titan Ex? Try doing it as a healer.

Finding front-line too frustrating on Dragoon? Try Bard.

Broadening your perspectives in such a way broadens the ways you can enjoy things such as raids and whatnot. As someone previously stated, you get what you put into this game, as with many others. And sometimes, it's not the content you are doing, but how you are doing it, that ends up being what burns you out.
