Look it up on Amazon. It is there for pre-order for 39.99 from Square Enix. Says it will be released December 31 2015. Same for Kingdom Hearts 3. Both have the option for PS4 or Xbox One.

I'm pretty sure Amazon is just using the end of next year as a default to stick into the Release Date field in their database for anything they don't know the release date of.

It looks terrible IMO. It's a shame we'll never see another old skool medieval or steam punkish style fantasy RPG again.

Bravely Default, which came out this year from Square, is an old-school medieval fantasy RPG. And its awesome! If you have a 3DS you should check it out.
And they're making another one.

So they do have a group making traditional RPGs, they're just targeting 3DS instead.

Yeah I've got that one, handheld games don't hold my attention anymore. I'm SUPER OLD and not willing to and hunch over a gameboy and strain my eyes for hours a day for a game XD!
