Unable to access server for version check?

I just reinstalled FFXIV and when I try to start it up I keep getting this error come up:

11023 Unable to access server for version check 2.20455.20457

Are the servers down or something atm or is this a bug?

You sure the ports are still properly forwarded? If your local IP changes the ports are usually blocked for you.

FIXED ^^ Turns out FFXIV doesn't like it when you have your User Profiles on a different HDD than it should be by default ><

I have an SSD which Windows and FFXIV were installed on but it started running low on space as things being stored in my User Profiles where taking up a lot of space. So I formatted the SSD and reinstalled Windows and then moved the User Profiles onto a different HDD to free up space on the SSD. I installed FFXIV on the SSD but as it couldn't/can't find my My Documents folder as it is on the other HDD it comes up with this error.

After restoring the My Documents folder it worked first time and is updating now.

Duh... those error codes are just so useless. I hope SE plans to fix those or at least offer a list to look them up.
