some st gear is already super OP. Look at st top and pants for drg, it smashes the soldiery 110 equivalents due to the 27 det ( 9 str worth )

You could look at it in reverse though; The gear choices for Dragoon on Soldiery is that bad. Bard doesn't have it great either, a lot of pieces have skillspeed on.

At the end of the day, i110 is going to be the "baseline" of 2.4, so giving people more opportunity to get to that, and more choice at that baseline should be encouraged. Just look at the Ramuh rings being increased to i110 as an example to (as well as getting more people to do that content).

Bard gear is fine. You just have to raid for it instead of using the Soldiery gear.

Yeah, but is having one gearset to choose from good game design? Do you think having a variety of available gearsets at the step before endgame is good or bad for the game?
