Novus Vs the Un-Weathered Weapons...what gives?

I've compared Weathered Conqueror and HA Great Axe while keeping the rest of my gear the same using this calculator : http://valk.dancing-mad.com/calculat...ut-calculator/
The difference between the two, DPS wise, is 6%

Would you skip high-allagan weapon ?

That's completely irrelevant though, as there is a jump in weapon damage. You would be better off comparing a Novus to an unweathered weapon.

Secondary stats on weapons only aren't going to make any significant difference in DPS (apart from accuracy in certain situations). Even 5% is rather generous given what you have shown above.

This is why you are better off getting a soldiery weapon and just doing whatever activity provides a new weapon rather than going through the pain of relic for 0.5% increase in DPS.
