Glossary?

I'm familiar with most terms involved with the average MMO , but there are a few I've run into here that are new to me. Is there any kind of comprehensive online glossary of all the terms used in the game? I see a lot of veterans of the game here using a kind of shorthand that I find quite indecipherable at times.

"Comprehensive" is a bit of a tall order, given how much things change from patch to patch ("ST" used to reliably mean Sunken Temple of Qarn; now it probably means Syrcus Tower), and can even vary from server to server (come to Gilgamesh and see shouts about "Steak" or "AST" that'd make you think it's a game term).

One term I've see a a lot here recently - early pull. What is it exactly and why does it seem to upset people??

It's connected to the Hunt system, specifically the high rank Hunt NMs - there are whole parties going around fighting them, and an early pull is when someone goes ahead and attacks the enemy before the parties arrive.

The reason players get so bent out of shape about it is that Hunt targets are not identified on the map, and as it reduces the chance they will receive the maximum credit for fighting it if they don't attack it from the very beginning and come in later - it all comes down to greed and self-entitlement at the end of the day.

Personally I think they should just go and find some other way to get their tomes/seals, but it's regarded as the 'fastest' way, so I don't know. *shrugs*
