Did you get your second barding at Rank 16 when your second tree was completely filled out? Or did you have to wait until Rank 20 to automatically obtain your second (and third) barding? I got the Healer barding at Rank 10 and would like to obtain the PLD barding at Rank 16 if possible (^_^)

Yes, he got his second barding at Rank 16, appeared as soon as he allocated the points (I was in party with him at the time). Third barding was also instant, soon as he allocated the final points.

It looks like it would be about 200ish krakka roots for 19-20 without challenge log or fighting mobs.

You get 1 at rank 10 if you pull all your points in one tree, one at rank 16 if you put all the points into 2nd tree, and one at rank 20 for filling out the last tree.
