Technically, Carbuncle has Contagion but it's called Shining Emerald. It has the exact same effect as Contagion. Arcanist also have Rouse. The rest you were correct. And to answer your question, he didn't do great DPS. Losing 10% of your primary stats, your biggest damaging nuke, a 40% damage boost to your pet + Enkindle will make your DPS horrendous.

You lose exactly 10 of each stat by taking off your job crystal. Not 10%.

You can make up for it to some degree by using other cross class abilities like Blood for Blood, Internal Release or (I think) Aero. I mean you're still going to be doing less DPS as the ACN, but it's not all loss.

It feels like carby was the only summon they put effort into, all others look so bad.
