Request- Some form of carbuncle for Summoner.

I LOVE the carbuncle design, it just amazes me how magical the little guys feel. They've always been my favorite pets out of all the possible ones, even though I really tried to like the Primal egis, and I mean I stared at them, trying to find the good in them, (At least ifrits kinda cool... I guess.)

It's like they based the Egi forms around what Carbuncle is, puny FEELING (they don't need to be bigger) and simple in design, except it doesn't work for the egis, they're supposed to be, or at least SHOULD be detailed and cool!

The Egis could never be as magical as carbuncle in their current forms and design, so if you can do anything besides work on the Egi designs more, I'd love to see some form of Carbuncle be useable for the Summoner and/or Scholar, I just hate not using them anymore, (Besides, it's kinda silly that just because I put on a crystal I suddenly can't summon carbuncle anymore)

I'm sure somebody's asked for this before, and I'm sure they either got shot down or laughed at, blah blah.

I would love to have a carbuncle instead of egis. The whole reason I started with summoner was because of the carbuncle. I wish they would implement a way to keep summoning it even after you get the egis. I miss them.

Yeah a large number of summoners would love this, considering the threads that popped around the time the Hunt promo screenshots teased a Summoner in AF with Carbuncle out.

Yeah, Carbuncle is cute, I'd love being able to summon him on SMN. I once went ahead and signed up as ACN just so I could have Carbuncle there.

I admit I'm oversimplifying things, but all they essentially did was change the skin.

I'd also like to see some sort of quest in the future where you can change it back.

They could make him a SMN pet in that they can call him but maybe not use him. I think most SMN are used to XI and him being your first avatar and first to keep out with no mp cost with the right gear. I agree that he should still be usable after ACN is done. I mean no one plays classes and after you unlock the job carbuncle is tossed to the curb and to me he is kind of the main reason I also went to SMN in XIV.

SMN was the one DD job I was looking forward to. I'm typically a healer and was extremely excited to have my Carby. Sadly, once I became a SMN he turned into Garuda-Egi and Ifrit-Egi and I mourned my little bouncy buddy.

I, too, would love some way to be able to use Carby as a SMN. Perhaps we could have a Ruby version that is bigger and badder than the previous two Carbuncles and would fall into the Egi skill range?
