Why are my Retainers only returning with Coeurl Meat HQ???

Seriously... there is no WAY you can convince me that this is working as intended. For the last ten days in a row (consecutively). BOTH my retainers have been returning from the 18 hour field ventures with ONLY coeurl meat HQ or Hippogryph skins HQ.

I repeat, my retainers have been returning with nothing other than allagan coins and skins/meat for the last ten days. This is just BS of the highest order.

Im bloody pissed off now and this is beyond ridiculous... there is absolutely no bloody freaking possible way that there is an element of randomness involved at this point. I absolutely hate both my time and resources being wasted on this type of rubbish rewards and I hate it now. Thoroughly.

Its bad enough that several of us endured the "fish" rewards from Quick ventures for the last couple months, but now its beyond worse... fix it guys... fix it.

I had that problem too so I just started sending them on different level ventures :/

haha ive been running those ventures for months now and literally 95% of them have been exactly as you have described.

I have gotten the minute mindflayer 3 times taffeta cloth 6 times and light steel 5times in the last how many months has ventures been out..!?

the random element is that giant hidden dye with one face on it that says today we be kind and reward you something different.

the only thing that's good about those ventures is I get 5k a day in allagan pieces which pays for my teleport costs.

I too share this frustration but what I didn't see in this thread is the equipment ilevel (or gathering requirements if mine/bot). I spent thousands of gil equipping my 2 level 50 miners to get the gathering up to 383 and my other 2 retainers to ilevel 70 so they could run their respective xii level 17 hour missions and only come back with Coeurl meat. That is insane. I have a level 80 coat for my bard I spent a fortune on and in order to get a level 383 gathering number you have to meld all kinds of stuff to it and they only come back with junk. This has been a major disappointment. One thing if they were Ilevel 10 or no melded equip, but come on already. I get the RNG but this is silly.

Level XIV ventures almost always get me gold pieces and Hippo skins. lol

Yeah, same as above. Hippo Skins and coins with the occasional Taffeta and 1x Mindflayer. I got better rewards while I was leveling them! Pretty bad and not a real incentive to try an pimp out your retainers.....

Perhaps my post gave me some good luck, I logged in last night after work and my Miner retainer (out on a 17 hour level 12 mission) brought me back a Minecraft Minion. I'm a huge minion collector, have never even heard of this one. So I was pretty jacked about this.

Same thing with me. Mostly coeurel meat from my DoW retainer since ventures came out. My DoL retainer just brings me useless house pieces.
