Just an idea for when people back out of a dungeon.

Don't we all just love when someone gets into a dungeon, decides they don't want to do it, and backs out, leaving everyone there? Especially if that person was the tank or a healer? Sometimes nobody shows up, and the dps, who waited long enough anyway, are forced to leave.

Here's an idea. What if when someone backs out, the remaining people could change classes. Maybe someone has a tank or a healer class they can use.

Now I know what some of you are thinking. The game could get confused, because if a tank backed out, and someone switched, the game might not pick it up. What about a small change to the "replenish ranks" system. Add another option like "change classes then replenish ranks". Give a small period of time, like 30 seconds, before the game looks for what class needs to be filled.

Obviously it wouldn't work as well in a 24 person raid, but it's just a random idea.

They could do that right now. It is called join in progress. I've had FC members quit out and switch to their tank or healer and join back and now just have to wait for a DPS. This is easily done.

I've had that happen, but I've also had times when someone backed out to switch, only to be thrown into another group. Plus, join in progress could take a while if looking for a tank or healer. Dungeons like Aurum Vale.

I would love there to be the option to change if the party drops below what is needed to complete the dungeon. There have been times I have backed out to change and could not get same dungeon back.

I like the idea on paper, though we have to see if/how it could be abused.
