It's more the fact that they all rather suck compared to a one-meld materia gear <_<

or the fact that the drop rate on the keys for boss chests sucks and the dop rate for the gear from the chest is even lower, so unless you have a really dedicated group you arent gonna get a chance to get them.

That gear should be renamed to mage pieces. It's an insult to call gear like that wizard/sorcerer gear.

Somehow I waited for you to show up in this thread, Mr. Redmage..

I know materia gear is better, but I'm not obsessed with being the best and wearing the best equipment but more with wearing rare stuff nobody else is wearing
So I'll try and get my LS to camp the strongholds with me until I have my sorcerer/wizard/mage/whatever gear

It looks like regular crafted gear, and it's stats are worse. You won't look too unique.

And your words cut me deep, and I would say no cures for you, but I see you are Cjn.

Red(Fire) Wizards are superior than any (insert name/color) mage.
