Lag problems between 7pm-11pm EST

For some reason after the latest patch I have been getting constant lag between 7pm-11pm EST, I called my ISP(Verizon Fios) and they said everything is fine and there should be no connection problems. I was wondering if anyone else has this issue, no one in my house is streaming, face-timing or doing anything to hog the bandwidth.

Hard to say, i don´t know what Verizon offers as Access-Technology?...*

But be assured, if an ISP´s says "everything is fine" - what it really says is "I have a hangover and no motivation to look into your problem closer"...

As impressive an Fiber Access may sound in sheer numbers, it´s quite a shared media...
And with Triple Play Services, you do not compete in primetime with other Internet users in your segment but also with TV Broadcast, which get more Bandwidth consuming with establishment of 1080p als default for more and more stations.

Also, there´s the tail-end - SE´s Datacenter ist connected by Level3 - who constantly say their Link´s are fully loaded, but the peering ISP´s dont invest the money to upgrade it.

All this Instadamns, Facesh*** and of course YouPuke raising the bandwidth needs in providers backbones and peerings, while the prices for internet access were constantly dropping the last years.

Thus resulting in an enviroment not good for gamers ... we should shift back and do lan partys again...
