Your wrong, firstly I had someone test this and I watched their character of which as soon as they moved the afk status turned off even though they set it manually. Secondly afk status does not prevent /tells at all as I have had /tells while afk in cities and villages/towns. Once again seems your confusing status types like another person did before.

Thirdly this whole excuse of people setting their status to x, y or z to prevent tells while gathering is such a load of nonsense in my opinion since it makes zero difference if receive tells or someone speaks to you while gathering as no-one is forcing you to respond plus as someone who grinds away gathering for many hours on end I have never had any random person /tell me...no-one ever in my experience goes around doing /tells on gatherers at random for no reason unless they are exhibiting the behaviors of bots such as the afk while moving or constantly getting stuck running into the same rocks multiple times etc for extended periods of time so the whole blocking /tells is the most pointless thing to do ever. It seems for the most part just an excuse mostly botters use in my opinion.
