Party Leader Icon

Can we have a party leader icon next to our names in the open world that gets displayed when anyone is a party leader. This would make it easier to make alliance. Make it a icon like with the Duty Finder in progress icons.

There is actually already a way to see who the party leader is. There is a blue flag by their name on lists, such as LS lists. The party leader flag is different.

EDIT: Since I have "reached my daily post limit" - this really does work. Look on your friends list or on your LS list. A person in a party has a blue flag that says "In a Party" if you hover over it. A party leader has a different flag and it says "Party Leader" if you hover over it.

He means people of a different party entirely - and you can't see who's in a party outside of your own, let alone who's the leader of the party, from the person's nameplate. It's a small detail, but it would be quite helpful when you're throwing an alliance together for whatever you want to do with it.

If I remember, it was even like this in the ARR beta as well as 1.x. I don't see a reason why it was removed either.

yea :c it was a good way to know if people were in parties in one glance without bringing up lists

Kinda pointless, unless you're inviting completely random people to your alliance I assume there will be some sort of chat or coordination before the invite takes place, not hard to say "meet me at x place".

I can also see why it was removed from public view, it's unnecessary overall.

Same reason the feature allowing you to choose which quests to display first in the duty list was removed at release. :P
