The Proudest Day as Arcanist

Dedicating my first post to an exciting moment -- Just killed the boss of normal Tam-Tara as Lv 19 Arcanist, with the only help of a WHM!!

It was weird -- at 14 secs into the fight, our tank and Lancer suddenly dashed out of the room! Later both said they saw the boss moving outside - so they chased, and was too late to return.

Luckily my Topaz was still pulling hate, so now the WHM had to keep healing Topaz and I slowly chipped the boss with DoT.

Topaz was incredibly tough, and my WHM was also incredible healer -- a Lv 5o for Animus, his skills are as good as his gears. The only danger came when we ran out of MP, and the Topaz finally died. The WHM then pulled enemies running, while I summoned Topaz, DoT'ed the adds, and pinned down the boss again.

Eventually the fight ended with my LB, a few hours after my decision to start an Arcanist.

Thank you Pripyat Ivanenko, my amazing WHM! Not sure which server you are on, but just like you said, "THIS IS THE MAGIC POWAH!"

Arcanist is my favorite class, it's very fun. You seem like the right fit to play as one with that story. Good luck on your adventures!

Congrats! Later on you have the tough decision of going DPS (Summoner) or Healer (Scholar) They both branch of the same class and most people get annoyed if you can't do max dps (I know...) so it's ether Max Intelligence or Max Mind. Also I don't think you're allowed to mention name specific people on here, but I might might be wrong. Have Have a happy time playing Arcanist.

Thank you I used to think Arcanist is complicated due to the control of pets, but now I totally changed my mind.

Thank you too I'm going to make a Scholar, so I've already dumped points into MND. Besides, I've used my excessive myth tombs from my Bard on Scholar gears as well. Maybe one day I'll use Scholar to help another Arcanist beat the same boss, lol
