For those of you clearing T9 regularly...

Most definitely a DPS issue there. Our group pushes 1 ghost with 4 DPS and have done it since our first T9 clear. Make sure one of your bards is battle voicing foes and everyone is using stat potions as soon as Nael drops after megaflare.

Aside from that it sounds like you all are close. Keep calling out mechanics and encourage everyone to be vocal. You'll have it down soon.

Grats! What strategy did you guys go with? 1 tank or 2? What did you guys do to correct some of the issues u where having?

We tried a two tank strategy and were having OK success but were still getting to the ghost phase w/o LB3 (even with 8 different job classes). We tried dps'ing the ghost and then melee LB nael, but we kept getting a 2nd ghost during the bahamut favor transition.

So we decided to just stick with what got us this far, went back to 1 tank and 2 brds, and just made peace with getting two ghosts due to lack of LB3. It wasn't ideal, but at least it was consistent and we could plan for it.

After that, it just took some ironing of the fine details in the last phase, like not running too far with the first fire-out, and making sure that sch virus went up for every favor/claw. And it wouldn't have been a proper first win w/o a 1% wipe caused by our Dragoon! (he used lb at 5%, got animation locked with lightning and killed everyone lolol)

DRG body and SMN book dropped. Can't wait to get back in there on wednesday this week!
