Housing Upgrade

Our FC bought a house early on and as such we got a small house. We have the intentions to upgrade to a much larger house once we had the money saved up.

We have since done so but I have noticed a few problems.

#1 - No Medium or Large housing really left unless its in Uldah which most people seem to avoid.

#2 - Upgrading a house size currently is a small mess.

• Members must rebuy their personal spaces at 300k each
• If they have any items when you destroy it that were not removable they are destroyed
• You must remove all decorations but lose your gardens, aetherytes stables, mailboxes etc.
• There are 0, yes 0, M or L houses in Limsa or Gridania. Uldah has a ton mostly because it seems people don't want to be there. Can't blame them, we like the beach
• All special decorations are destroyed (Garuda, Ifrit etc.)

Potential Suggestions?

• Allow a transfer to a new place option
• Handle FC housing like personal housing and move all items into a temporary storage area where they can be reassigned out to the new place
• I think if we are going ideal it would be to go to the new plot, simply say upgrade your housing (Pay the amount) and wait for the system to transfer possessions but I am sure thats a ton more work.

Anyone have any thoughts, I am sure I am missing more issues but have heard from a number of FC leaders on our server about the inability to upgrade and the unavailability of more housing to include inactive housing.

How about this. Redesign the residential area so that every plot is a large plot and lower the price to a flat 10M Gil. All currently owned plots will be upgraded to large at no cost.
