Suggestion: Change the market boards to not tax both buyer AND seller.

I noticed this when selling an item from my mule to my main character. (because SE hates multiple characters on the same account, even though legacy accounts get to make up to 8 characters q.q)

I put up an item for 165k on my main character, and the confirmation screen said id be charged a 5% tax. OK, no problem. I was expecting this. However, when my mule went to buy the item, the confirmation screen asked if i wanted to pay 173,250 gil for it... which incidently, is 5% of the final sale. When I went to retrieve the gil from my main characters retainer, it had 156,750 gil on it... which incidently, is 5% of the final sale. In other words, not only was my main character charged a 5% tax, but the buyer, my mule, was as well. This is a 10% tax rate grand total, which seems both excessively high and confusing to both buyers and sellers.

I suggest either halving the tax rates and keeping it the way it is currently, or making it so only the buyer or seller has to deal with the sales tax, not both. (and yes, i know you can move your retainers to the city with the lowest tax rate, but the problem is, at least on sargatanas, there is no lower tax rate city... theyre all normal at all times.)

That tax on the buyer is only when you buy from a retainer from a different city than the one you're in. Shipping cost?

Ok, see, I had no idea there was even such a rule in place. That seems rather arbitrary, and not very reasonable, considering you can't even tell which city the retainer is in when you buy, as the market boards are all linked between the three cities. I'd recommend removing it all together then, or reworking it so that its clear which city the retainers are in and that there's a tax for buying out of the retainers home city. This might lead to increased server traffic from players teleporting to the cities to dodge the tax, so it's probably not a good route to go.

You can tell what City the retainer is from when you buy an item it will have a coloured square next to their name. For example if it is red they are from Limsa
