What happened to report spam?

Reporting used to be a chore. Didnt feel like the time i had to spend was worth the hassle, especially with no feedback on people actually being banned over it.

But these new friendlist invites are so anoying that i've actually gone and started reporting people again. Not sure if RMT are really helping themselves with this new tactic, they're only getting banned quicker :/

The free 2 week thing has really caused the majority of the issue, before it was the occasional gil spam message but once that 2 week free trial started BAM messages galore and friend requests up the wazoo

The biggest thing I noticed on my server is the fact that about75% of the names lately...are not adsfohiadsf adsjkadf and more like actual character names, so either they are even getting smarter or tons of people are falling victim of buying gil and having their account immediately seized buy the gil sellers (my theory was that personal housing was coming so tons of people were stockpiling gil to afford their private houses, but its just a theory)

I suggest that new players are un allowed to send tells and friend request until they complete the level 10 city quest, they can receive both but not send. This might slow it down a bit at least, btw, my blacklist is 2 from full as of this morning, and ive already removed the deleted this week.

Ah, the 2 week trial explains it then. I was wondering what had happened that I was getting a bunch of tells and friend requests this weekend, way more than usual. I just wish SE would move into this century and give us paying customers an easier way to report RMT spam.

I call bollox on this, before the free trial program started it was the occasional rmt spam blacklist, but I have seriously seen the numbers triple since the free trials started, apparently its not working as intended. Unless someone wants to make a free account and see if it is the case. If free trials are not allowed to do so, than there has to be some other higher reason for the super massive increased amount as of late.

Or maybe they can let us give them a reply back by saying go check out arche age, maybe they need gil.
