Or just make it considered harassment. Like Bayohne has already stated on the record is the case for ignoring a party's loot rules.Party Finder is meant for those who wish to stipulate the sort of players they want to play with. Currently Party Finder has no safeguards against liars.
That is what this topic is about, the need to be able to filter out deceptive players. Sorry but this is probably one of the best ideas to be mentioned in awhile.
isnt PF meant for that ?? why people want to change something that works fine ? calling oneself *good* doesnt make it a true statement. I see that everyday in Levi and more then not those that call themselves PRO are the first to fall and the first to leave after one whipe because of them, so what then ?
This game has other things to adjust that are far more problematic then this of a single button...just because people are lazy to make their own party. The only advantage is this of having access to more people but is all relative, there are generally enough people in your server that call themselves PRO to make up a PF, no need to add anything on DF.

I'd much rather farm things on my i107 PLD than on other jobs that are i90 or below. I will still run in Need parties on occasion, but these days it's mostly Greed so all of us can use our best geared jobs and take down the content quickly and easily. We put the rules of the party in the party description and go over them multiple times to make sure people understand. If someone disagrees with the rules of our party, they don't have to join it. They are perfectly free to make their own. Honestly, I used to dislike Greed parties so I didn't join them; I made my own for Need rolls.
Did you just compare greed-only farm runs to botting? Lmao. Look, the fact is that we take the time to set the rules of the party in the comments on party finder. Someone joining and agreeing to said rules and then refusing to abide by them is doing nothing short of griefing the rest of the party. The other seven people have agreed to handle the loot one way and one person has just decided that they're special and they'll do whatever the hell they want. We don't hide these rules. In fact, we make multiple efforts to make sure people understand them, including a loot list macro that gets used in party every time someone new joins and every time we clear the instance. Are you really trying to say that the other seven people that adhere to the rules that they agreed to follow are the selfish ones? They also made a statment that third party tools are not tolerated and will result in account supension/termination and yet bots are running around freely, destroying the market and still there after reports have been filed, so you'll have to excuse me if they don't "act" on this. so far no one has been silly enough to put such rules up as of yet, since people understand people actually need things. but it's nice you pointed that out.
Great find.

If it's not new, but I havn't cleared I either: Go with FC, joina learning party, or form a learning party. I DO NOT join a kill/farm party.
Or you could have made your own party, then you would not have had to lie![]()
oh now makes more sense, and is totally silly as well.. just state it adding that button or not wont change anything anyeon can join and say they are pro, even if they arent

Its like you were in a hole, then dug it twice as deep, while also using your own point against yourself.
Bravo. It would seem people are hitting your nerves. I suggest deep breathing.
Nah.

People already ignore the Partyfinder checkboxes to begin with. Until they implement a way to force people to stay in a "farm group" for "Multiple runs for the loot", they should not implement the OP's suggestion, either.
