Or maybe someone miss his static this week and just want a quick clear to get some loot ? Maybe someone knows he won't be able to join his static so again, quick run for loot. Maybe someone who is experienced and is tired of wiping even though they keep telling people what to do and how the bosses works yet people aren't getting it just wants to get things done. Not everything is as one-sided as you're making it out to be, you don't know everyone's reasoning of why they might want experienced players only and quite frankly, they shouldn't have to justify themselves to some random internet strangers. Anyone is free to create a party with their own criterias and if you do not like them, make your own. No is special enough that they should be entitled to having people justify themselves as to why they don't want to play with someone/a certain group of players.

This community is actually one of the best out there in the MMORPG world. You tell us that we should believe you when you state that it's actually one of the worst (because of your experience) but if you're really played at the hardcore raiding scene of oh so many MMOs and are as experienced as you claim to be, you'd be lying through your teeth. Example, FFXI endgame scene from RoZ to mid WotG was a drama fest, toxic den of dishonesty,lying, MPKing (Spike Flail being a favorite), stealing pops (Hello KB losing threat on kiter then gets claimed by someone else) uses of shady tactics (Hello Salvage!). Honestly, everyone that I see mentioning that this community is the worst have some of the worst attitudes down there and the issues more than likely resides within themselves so whenever someone does something they do not agree with, they think that person is toxic.

Before calling this community the most toxic in MMORPG, look in a mirror first, you might see the reason why you're making such a claim in the first place. I think a reality check is in order for the kind of people with your mentality.

do you want some example of quite extrem behaviour that did happend in FF14?ok, why not i'm nice after all i give you a few example:
- the number of time people abuse the mechanic of the game and insult other that don't want to do it, example: Speed Run of AK with the reset of the monster at the boss or where people was using the exploit of the tree on the first boss.
- the PF that was (didn't check recently) filled with message like 1 Fail = kick = BL, it's your right to setup who you want in your party, true, but that don't give you the right to be a jerk.
- the drama about first timer looking the Cut Scene in the dungeon that are either kick or insulted (still happening)
- all the drama around the pull of hunt monster (still happening even now, only on the rank A and S)
- a lot of racist comment left there and there between different community, like some english player often calling name french player (it happend in the other side too ^^)

i can continue, but it will be hypocrite to simply dump all on FF14, it's more a society trouble, people have become horrible jerk on internet, you will say is not new, but heere you have some pretty impressive and shocking case.
you was lucky to get the good side, but some player did get the quite the other side of the medal, i still remember new player that was simply insulted because he was a new player or ps3 player bashed for no reason since a lot of them play as well than pc player.

we have too many rift into the community, new player vs veteran, pc player vs console player, different nationality fighting each other. but that not the point, all of this is for say that we must'nt let some feature that will lead to more toxic community appear.

and i will repeat it one more time... even if you are part of a static, LS are there for this!

ps: about your comment like i don't know anything, i did see too many time people being horrible in the last years in this game... indeed it happend in other game, but here, believe me it can reach some really really nasty level.

it's you right to decide who you want to admit in your group, true... however ask for... segregation's tool. because it's this, the word is violent, but it's not different. "we are raider, we are taking time and stuff like this for get out shinies and don't want anybody to mess up with our... pleasure". and you know what i can understand it. however, just a reminder, before be the amazing supah raider of hell.... you was a new player that did probably had hard time to get the fight done.

like said by people before... if you want to have a farm group, make a LS, make a list, get friend! but for the god sake don't ask for tool that will simply add oil on fire.

I honestly don't care what you call it; a rose by any other name would smell as sweet. The thing is since party finder gives one the tools to set their own party requirements, it is, by its very nature, a "segregation tool". If I set any requirement at all, someone is being left out, always. Of course, that's what it's designed to do. You really can't argue otherwise. It's basically like duty finder with your own filter on it.

And you're right, I was that new player, struggling to pass titan hm/ex, turn 1/4/5/6 and now turn7. But I didn't join farm parties to get that far; I made friends, made learning parties, joined linkshells, so on and so forth. It's funny how well that works. The squeaky wheel gets the oil; no one is going to help you if you don't go looking for help. Hopefully, you follow your own advice.

I remember when PF was new, there were many "weekly kill party" at every moment everyday.
Then I found most of them (very often including party leader) were doing their first week of the weekly kill ^^;

I think that's not a bad idea to implement something to validate the condition set for a PF,
for example if you have not cleared it in current job, you cannot set the PF as "farm".
Or if you set "watch CS" , you cannot skip CS for this run. why not? ^^;

Moreover, an option to lock gear set after joinning should be added, it ensures players cannot cheat gear iLvl.

uhmm why should a PF segregate in the first place ? segregation for whatever the reason is a poor attitude altogether it is just unbelievable the stupidity that goes around. Your statement is just silly...maybe someone wants to just play with member of his server as opposed to DF that is a tool for all servers (in a nutshell) does that require a segregation with incredibly harsh limitations for people to play together? since when?...
