Any1 has a number on how much DPS potent poisoning potion adds to me as a PLD with shield oath?
Basically is it worth it?

I just use potent poisoning potions and STR pots (can use them together since they don't share cooldowns). However, this is for the progress phase for new content which usually doesn't take that long. By the time you have everything on farm, item level makes us so overgeared it's not worth the time to craft them (or money to buy them) imo.
I never understood the VIT ones though.

VIT is like an extra mini CD. For progression while under geared Potions are vital. The 600hp from a VIT potion might be lol right now, but when people were doing T9 in i90ish gear they were a big deal. Just like now STR/Potent Pots are useless besides Savage coil. (people still use them for parsing and the such but they are no longer required, my Coil group stopped using food)
You cannot use gold needles while petrified, but you can be targeted by a party member and healed of petrification by a gold needle. So it would be useful for whoever isn't going to be petrified to carry around, but not the one that will be petrified.
I can only confirm this on petrification on the world map, haukke HM, and CT though. I don't know if petrification in coil2 is a separate debuff like the paralysis from high voltage originally was.
Figures.

It's called Stone Curse instead of just "Petrified" or whatever so I imagine it isn't possible to use a gold needle on.You cannot use gold needles while petrified, but you can be targeted by a party member and healed of petrification by a gold needle. Haha thx for the reply lyndwyrm. As I was writing: Anyone can confirm if someone can use a Gold Needle on you if you are petrified to remove the condition? You cannot use gold needles while petrified, but you can be targeted by a party member and healed of petrification by a gold needle. So it would be useful for whoever isn't going to be petrified to carry around, but not the one that will be petrified.

It was for sure to say the obvious that if you are petrified, you cannot use it on yourself
My point was like you cannot use an X-Ether potion on someone else than you..
I'm happy to see that you can, thanks ^^
Hmm.. I run with antidotes, spine drops, vit pots and sometimes ethers..
antidotes and spine drops used mostly when soloing or dungeon runs..
vit pots usually for progression raids where the extra HP boost could be the difference between a raid wipe or not..
ethers are great when you've received a raise and need some MP to flash mobs or stoneskin others..
Bring something along with you! much better than not having any![]()
