I'm back at DWG, using one plum. How many feeds/what would I feed to get to MB from DW?

1 valfruit, then 3 berries. You will proc on the berries, but feed it 3 so we can push the RG to the lower end.

Should get feather proc on 3rd berry, which will take you into RR range, rest are for fine tuning.

This is getting beyond frustrating.

Deepwood Green>Kobold Brown loop again, I fed it ONE VALFRUIT as suggested, it procced a plumage change, 6 hours later KOBOLD BROWN.

I'm at the end of my rope. Is this just it? I can't get Soot Black, have to waste god knows how much money starting completely over?

And even then it's not a guarantee that it won't end up being even more money in the toilet.

Help please. I've been wanting to go to Rolanberry Red. I started out at Regal Purple, I followed tips, guides, the calculator, and the spreadsheets. I always seem to end up with Dalamud Red instead, then when I try to get Rolanberry Red from there I get back to Regal Purple. I'm so confused atm. I'm not sure what to do ; ; currently on Dalamud Red atm. Staying put cause I'm tired of being stuck on these two.

Hey guys,

Looking for expert help on changing my chocobo's color. I wanted regal purple, and have achieved that color via 'blood red' > 'regal purple' with 17x O'Ghomoro Berry, 15x Xelphatol Apple and 18x Valfruit 1st feeding, and then 3x Valfruit and 1x O'Ghomoro Berry on the 2nd feeding. I'm not thrilled with the color though and would like it a bit lighter and have decided on 'lavender purple'. I've researched and seen I need to use 11 × Pineapples, 13 × Valfruit, 18 × Plums. Can anyone confirm the fruit quantity I listed is correct and assist me in how to break down the feeding distribution so I don't overfeed one color.

Uhm, ok I'm kinda freaked out.

As I mentioned before about 6 hours ago before I saw your messages, I fed the bird a valfruit to move it to KB, since I was like "whatever, I'm in a loop so what's the worst that can happen if I keep going with it?"

Anyway, while I was writing this post I got confused about what color it was currently "before the change applied by the valfruit", and when I go to check its color since it still has 50 minutes before it actually changes...

It claims that it is Soot Black. Is the game screwing with me or is it telling me what color it will be before the cutscene plays and I finally reached it?

I've never seen it change in the window before actually changing, should I have ripped it out of the stable beforehand? Now that I've fed it all this other crap I'm at wits end
What the goddamn hell am I supposed to do with this piece of crap system in game as it is? It's feeding false information, and nothing about this is clear.

Having to wait for input isn't helping either, it's just too late, every single time.
