Agreed. It's when things like leveling or customizing your Grand Company Chocobo is tied to your rank within (as well as the rank of) your Free Company that I get annoyed. It's adding restrictions that make no sense. (If they'd instead had restrictions on it based on your GC rank, that I'd accept. It'd make more sense that way. But it shouldn't be tied to FCs.)

Worst part is, there are "unused" Chocobo Stables and even locations that could be used for Gardening all over Eorzea, but instead this is FC content (FCs with a House, even) because... Having bought a House a FC clearly needs the extra Gil Gardening brings in...?

This is trully what they are though, some items prices are stupidly high for what they are. ( see Glamour prisms for example )

I guess you will need

- 5 millions of GIL
- at least one 3 star crafter
- at least one crafter 100% upped in Desynthesis
- to have beaten Coil2 Savage Mode
- a Level 15+ Choccobo
- to have dyed a complete AF set
- to have cleared the 3.000 FATE achievement

and then you can get a small personal house but Gardens are coming later. Much later.

I can't even begin to guess what the prices will be... but I really, really am afraid that they will give us different prices per server group just like they did for FC housing -_-# ...

They did say a while back that personal housing would be cheaper than FC housing, but didn't include by how much, so that's still a pretty wide range of possibilities.

I'm hoping that personal houses will be essentially like small FC houses, or perhaps like the original implementation of small FC houses (before they were enlarged to include a basement). But they should have a yard where we can have a garden and stable.

If they go with the type of ward arrangement FC housing has, I hope they do a better job of ensuring there are enough houses available of all types for everyone who wants one, even on the crowded servers. Having them individually instanced may be a better option, simply to avoid this problem, but then we'd need a way of specifying when we want to visit someone else's house rather than go to our own.
