Thinking about coming back, where to begin?

Hey all,

I've been thinking of playing again after a 6 month absence, but one of the things holding me back is that I have not been following all of the additions to the game over the last few months. So I'm just curious as to where you guys would suggest going if/when I hit the subscribe button?

Unfortunately my FC has dissolved so I probably won't have much in game help to speak of. I do know that all of my gear is completely worthless now, so where should I head to and start getting geared up? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hunts and Syrcus Tower will pretty easily raise you to level 100/110 gear. Other than hunts, I don't think there's really too much different. Best gear is in Second Coil.

Doesn't look like you craft, so I think that's about it.

Yeah, I never needed to craft because I had a buddy that maxed out all of the crafting classes, but he stopped playing also so I will probably have to start doing that.

It's a bummer you're not on Leviathan. I'd scoop you up and get you back on your feet in no time!

Syrcus Tower and Hunts are the main content atm. That, and of course Second Coil of Bahamut. You picked a good time to come back, actually. Very easy to get a job caught up right now, thanks to Hunts.
