What am i doing wrong in the Ixal quests?

The thing is that these recipes are DESIGNED to be low level, even very low level. They are designed to offer experience when completed. The whole point of them is to be done by a low level DoH class to level up on. If this tier is so difficult that even a level 50 DoH with maxed cross class skills is struggling, there is something seriously flawed with the system. I'm banking on it being a bug with the location debuff.

got the "high wind" rank 6 quest yesterday and today. I spent about an hour (41 CUL) trying to hq, I ended up with around 50 nq items before finally completing it. I got the same quest today, after 6 attempts I just said screw this and abandoned for a lower tier quest.

all of the other rank 6's are fine, a few nq's here and there (not being a 50 crafter it's only fair), but that one craft is just... beyond frustrating.

I have all my crafts to 50 I have never not hq one of these. If you are having problems with the ones where you can't use cross class abilities go on weaver for CS2

even with byregots you just wont have the cp get it done. so stop being elitist and saying you have to level crafters to 50 just to do on quest. i just hack away at it till rng blesses me 3 times

Yeah, I do the quests on CUL and switch to GSM when handing them in.

I found out yesterday, yes. Crafted them on my culinarian then got xp on a lower crafting class.

Well im super geared on all my craft so i had never failed any attempt on HQ so far for the ebast tribes and Im rank 6 at the moment. Still I think is a good idea of these buffs limitations and such so that the crafters learn how to use their abilities. I know we still have to deal with RNG but in most cases you can win vs the RNG on crafting except on 3 stars (or 3.5 stars Augmented i90 which seems the hardest of all so far). So follow some of the tips people had post on this thread to have a better chance.

Hmmm...I never use Hasty Touch on these as a LTW 50.
I just use Steady Hand, then Inner Quiet (if normal), then Advanced Touch until 100% HQ, then Standard Touch.

Idk, ive been using my Alchemist which is at lvl 32/33 (i forgot which) and currently on the rank 5 crafting quests. Which, by the way, are waaaaaay easier to complete than the rank 4 quests, even now. That 40 durability, yeeeesh.

I guess I'll see what it's like. So far I've been lucky with Alchemist being my highest craft, second highest is GSM. at lvl uh.. 15-17 ..well, around there. It's thanks to the Ixali quests I finally decided to get into crafting tbh.

I am somewhat enjoying it more than I thought I would. So far at least.

Guess I need to lvl up my other ones for the cross class skills, but.. ugh. I am only leveling them up with the Ixali quests. Alchemist is slowing down to just barely making enough exp to almost level by turning in 3 rank 5 and 3 rank 4 quests.

I can't see grinding the rest of them up, it's terrible that way. The levequests aren't too bad, from the few I have done on my Alchemist, but they are still annoying and out of the way. I'd rather just use the Ixali quests turn ins as primary exp.
