If they're going to ignore the clipping issues, then just remove the hairstyles from the game altogether. The clipping is just a display of bad quality. If they're not going to fix the problem, remove it.

Eh no, there's still plenty of equipments that look fine with long hair and a lot of people that enjoy it. It would be much easier for you to shave your head if you don't like it than removing the option altogether from everyone.

I really like how TERA went about the clipping issues. Your hair would go into a ponytail or an updo to avoid clipping into the armor. All armors that had high collars would trigger this. However, they also added an option to disable the automatic updo so you could keep your hair long with the high collared armors since some of them didn't have glaring clipping issues and the hair covered the armor perfectly fine. It makes sense since even in other media, anytime you see someone wearing something with a high collar, they don't wear their hair long because it'll be a nuisance.

Remember tho that option to undo the forced updo was only added bc some people complained for 2 yrs since a lot of high lvl gear had high collars.

Also that option is only client base and not server side so only you see it
