SE please please please do something about the clipping!

Some of the longer hairstyles in the game are simply not usable due to the terrible clipping.

For example:

See how terrible that looks? As much as I like that hairstyle, there's no way I would ever use it. Half of it fuses through the collar of the gear, and into the yellow scarf. There really needs to be something done about the clipping in the game. The same thing happens with certain weapons when they're on your back. They'll clip through your armor and look terrible.

I rather them fix stuff like this later on.

FFXI had this same mindset. Took them 10 years before they finally went back and made QoL adjustments everyone had been clamoring for for years. Most responded with "Why couldn't you have done this 10 years ago?" Not that I care much about clipping issues, but still, best to nip these problems in the bud as early as you can.

If they're going to ignore the clipping issues, then just remove the hairstyles from the game altogether. The clipping is just a display of bad quality. If they're not going to fix the problem, remove it.

I would really like to see this fixed sometime as well. It would take some time and it's not something most other MMO's do but to heck with those as limitations as to why we can't have this.

And what about the people who would use those hairstyles happily and not care about clipping? The options should be removed? That's not very fair. My femroe has this exact problem with her warrior AF, and almost every other piece of gear she has, the front of her hair clips into it - it even clips into her body if she turns her head. And I don't care, because I love the style too much. I'd much rather have more long hair options than the ridiculous forced-ponytail that some other games have, or worse, removing the styles altogether.

I don't know much about coding, but I'd also be a bit concerned that if they tried to weight the hair around every piece of clothing, the sheer amount of extra data from constant hair weighting on every character onscreen would make the game unplayable for me, since the only way I can run it right now is on a laptop...I'm all for QOL fixes, and sure, I'd love a clipping fix, but only if it's really viable.

Eh no, there's still plenty of equipments that look fine with long hair and a lot of people that enjoy it. It would be much easier for you to shave your head if you don't like it than removing the option altogether from everyone.

Just choose hairstyles that look good with your choice of glamours. It's the best we can do right now, really.

SE already warned that having new hair styles with longer hair would clip with a lot of the gear. People wanted them still, so SE added them
